NO EGGS?

I have a flock of bantams 4 adult hens, 1 one month old chick and a rooster. Ever since the chick hatched and it was introduced into the flock, the entire flock has been on starter mash. The flocks egg production went down from 2 eggs a day to 1 egg a week. I dont know if this is because the flock is on mash, or if they don't like laying in the cold winter weather.

I want eggs, does anyone know what the problem?

Time of year, shortened day length, is definitely a factor. Also depending upon breed bantams tend to be somewhat seasonal layers.

Less sunlight! Without other light then your hens probably wont lay. Mine just stopped and it’s because of the shorter days! You’ll get more eggs in the spring!
