Update: It may rain. Hopefully this will break the heat. Tomorrow or Friday I'll clean out and replace all of the bedding in the coop. I can see if there's any hidden eggs in it, which is unlikely, but it doesn't hurt to check.

Ok! So should I try not to change things? The bedding I think really does need to be all, or at least partly, replaced. Otherwise should I just leave as is? I could try to go check on them at the same times every day, so they get used to that?You're just going to have to wait....the change really throws them off, any further changes may add to the time.

Yeah....it looked pale again this morningI went to check on them tonight and our leghorn's comb is looking quite red! Maybe we'll get some eggs from her soon? It might be my imagination though XD
