No eggs

Do they have roosts to sleep on? They shouldn’t sleep in a nest box.
The coop we bought didn't come with any roosts, just the open coop area and two nesting boxes. There is plenty of room for the 9 of them but they all only use one box. I have 4 leghorns that produce an egg a day and now 4 Ameracuanas. Even though there are 2 boxes, everyone only uses one. And not the same one, it's like where ever the first one of the day lays, everyone else follows suit. I was getting green eggs until the one Ameracuana died. The leghorns have not stopped laying.

I would think predator also. When the bear, cougar, or bobcat is in the area, my girls stop laying until the predator leaves. It could take them 1-2 weeks to start laying again. I have EEs and they don't lay every day, maybe every other day, and they all lay a different hint of egg color so I can keep track of who is laying and who isn't.

You can add roosts for them. Make sure you put them higher than the nesting boxes.

I used branches from trees. Secured them and they started using them. If they still want to sleep in the nesting box you will need to go out after dark and move them from the nesting box to the roost.

Putting them on the roost takes time. I read about everybody saying a couple of days. Mine took two months. There was a predator walking around at night. I have big windows that have hard ware cloth covering them from the outside. I left the windows open because it was summer, but nobody wanted to roost by the window. I had to close the windows.

I have 9 hens in total. They have a large coop with multiple laying boxes but at night they all tend to clump together into one box. I can only assume she was at the bottom of the pile and either suffocated or got her neck broken. There were no injuries and the coop is completely predator proof, so nothing got her.
Need to stop this asap, get roosts and block nests an hour before roosting time.

Really?
Please post pics of coop, inside and out.

You can make your own. Very easily. It sounds like you bought a prefab chicken coop. The suggested number of chicken that can live in it is grossly exaggerated. Pictures please we are not judging you. We want to see your set up.
