No Eggs!

My hens are not laying any eggs. I let them out early in the morning but still only get 3 eggs. I have 14 hens in total. When I leave them in the coop I still only get 3 eggs. Four of them are are more than 2 years old. This might be a stupid question but can the roosters put strain on them?

When hens get past 2 years old they don't tend to lay every day. Some breeds lay less than others as they age depending on breed. I don't think it has anything to do with the rooster, especially if he has been around them for a while.
