no eggs

My cayuga duck is one year old I got her in March and she laid one egg I haven't got any eggs since I'm going to try to separate her from the males and make her a nesting box does anyone know if this may work for me

I read that you have one female and more than one male?

Please separate her - if they are on her too much, not only can she not lay, she may become injured and her life may be at risk.

@Amiga my dealers don't mess with her I think they know better she holds her own she only mates with one drake....her boyfriend the other just watches. I love my ducks they have great personality.

They could be the reason why she isn't laying. I find it really hard to believe that she isn't being over mates with have more than one drake.

Last year was the first year I had ducks since my kids were young. Seems back then nature always took it's course. I was getting no eggs last year. Asked a man that was a lot wiser than me. Told me I needed to get a high protein feed. Took his advice and eggs started coming.

I would separate her for several days and see what happens.
