Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
I have 5 hens of various breeds all between the ages of 1 and two years. They have been laying up a storm lately (3-5 eggs per day). But the last week or so I haven't gotten a single egg. I have observed a few of them in the nest boxes as usual....but no eggs come of it. Anyone have any ideas on what might be going on?
