No Email From IDEAL...

Anyone else NOT get an email on Tuesday from Ideal??? My babies are supposed to be on their way (either yesterday or today) and everyone seems to get their emails Tuesday night. Nope, not me...which makes me think they won't be shipped this week?? WTH?? Anyone else not get an email Tuesday and still get their babies on time? (I sure hope so...)

The weather is so awful right now in Texas, I wish mine were to arrive next week! Maybe some of your breeds didn't hatch out until today? I already pestered the post office....nothing on the night truck but they are still expecting morning trucks.hearing the wind and snow whip outside is making me nervous. My only consolation is that I know other people in colder places order from further away.

Are you going to give them a call later to check your status?

Wink - yep counting down the minutes until 9AM. I think in my obsessive searches on BYC i found ONE person who got an email wednesday and not tuesday....so maybe there is still hope. I didn't realize the weather was still bad in TX though - ugh...maybe it will be for the better to get delayed...

Jerseygirl - how weird!! Maybe that's what happened. Never got an order confirmation email either, though I've talked to them a ton on the phone so I know they have the order. I keep checking my junk mail box obsessively LOL...

Funny, they are ALWAYS sending emails out about their computer system, being knocked out be a fire, etc..............But the chicks always manage to get here without a hitch!

Just called Ideal and they said they are shipping out today. Still don't like the fact that I did not receive an email though - I'll believe it when I see it!! Maybe I'll call tomorrow just to verify it shipped (unless I get an email)

When in doubt CALL!!!!! When I'm expecting chicks I like to be at the post office 5:30 in the morning as soon as the delivery truck arrives. I've ordered twice from Ideal and they always email me the day the chicks were sent.

Wink - i'm in MA. Long haul for the poor little babies. I saw your other post - congrats on them coming in!! 1 hr isn't too bad to drive! Hope it goes safely in the snow though.

Dolly - so are you saying that you've received Wednesday emails when they were shipped wednesday?? Seems like everyone gets emails Tuesday whether or not they were shipped Tuesday or Wednesday. Guess we'll see tonight if I get an email...

Yes, but I order last minute to get the super good sales lol! So maybe that makes a difference? My last batch came 3 weeks ago from Texas to Wisconsin and I only lost one out of 25! The temps were subzero at night, brrrrrr. I was so glad they arrived safe.
