Lots of people incubate with still air. The main difference is you need to adjust temp as still air should be 101-102F taken near the tops of the eggs. Still air the temp is layered in the bator because it has no circulation.I am trying my first time with an incubator, the Nova-Bator 1602N. It does NOT have a fan, will that effect the eggs? I am only on day 4, so candling won't truly show me anything yet...just wondering if I already screwed up?!
