No feathered feet?

Hi,

I'm brand new to chickens and got my first two yesterday. One is a White Silkie, and she's the one I have a question about.

I've seen pictures of Silkies having the feathered feet, but my Ida doesn't - just bare black feet, like my Sexlink's bare yellow feet.

Do some Silkies have naked feet? Is she a cross? Is it just because she's young (6 months) and they'll grow in later?

It doesn't really matter to me one way or another but I am kinda curious.

some backyard/ hatchery bred silkies have more faults than show quality ones..... These includes sparse feather on their legs, single comb, hard feather, green legs, etc...

She could be a mix but some pet quality silkies either have little or no foot feathering.

She could be a cross, or just pet quality... does she have 5 toes on each foot?

Yes, 5 toes. Now I see she has some feathering on her her legs, just not her feet.
