no feathers on the bottom of chickens necks

I have some red stars or sex link hens about 2.5yrs old, I have notice in the last week some of them are losing or picking the feathers out of the underneith side of their necks about 3" long, right over their throats. I think they are coming out of a molt because of downy soft white feathers coming in their red feathers, I havent seen any of them picking at themselves or others picking on them. Any ideas? they have plenty of dust to bathe in, dont think its lice or mites.

Prolly just a molt...mine are in the process also.

Ditto. One of my wyandottes has feathers missing on the back of her neck. Not real obvious unless she bends it a certain way.
