No idea how this happened

I went into my turkey pen today and I’ve had 2 broody hens sitting on 12 eggs, today I’m down to 7 eggs and about 20 feet from their nest box I found an empty egg shell...I looks like a finger just pressed down on it but I can’t see peak marks or anything on how it happened

Any possibility the tom is trying to breed them on the nest?

Gah I never thought that!! Yes that is a possibility!! I need a smaller door for my nest box!! thank you so much

Yes, the top isn’t covered or netted, I just clip their one wings flight feathers
