I have ten hens. They laid an egg a day (just about) each last year. This year the laying has dropped off drastically. I am only getting a couple of eggs a day. My EE's are not laying at all. I had a problem with them eating the eggs and I put a ceramic egg in the laying box's and started picking them up more often during the day. I believe they are still eating some eggs, but eight a day??? I bought a game camera and it will come any day. Hopefully I can see what is happening. Any suggestions. (Three Americana's Three Golden Sex Links, two Silver Lace Wyandott's, two Rhode Island reds)

Are they molting? This is the time of year where their laying decreases due to molting then less daylight hours. The first year of laying normally I isn't affected by this but the older they get the more they are influenced.

This has been a problem all year. They are still molting, I believe.
