still afraid of the water.

At least now when I open the pop door the ducks go running outside, they run right along the edge of the pond making sure not to get wet and right into the long grass where they plop down and spend the rest of the day.

Very funny.

The ducks I had last year (before they flew away) were also afraid of the water. I had a little pond made for them but they were afraid to get in. I even tossed them in a couple of times. They just freaked out and jumped right out. They eventually got in when I added a few feeder goldfish to keep the mosquitos down. They went in to eat the goldfish. After that they loved the water.
