For two weeks, I had my chickens on antibiotics (trial and error trying to find one that worked). They've been off now for several days (and seem to be okay), and I've had probiotics in their food and water. A bunch of the chickens, though, now have rusty brown diarrhea, and they just look bad. Some have also been in a molt for a long time. The ones who were the sickest have dry, pale-colored combs and have an all-around "dull" look. Is there anything more I should or could do to help them? I've never wormed my chickens, so I'm wondering if I should... or if it would be too much for them right now. Thank you all for helping me get my hens through this terrible sickness. This forum is a God-send!

Your birds probably do not have CRD, Crd very rarely kills so suddenly if at all. Infectious Bronchitis is a probable or ILT as mentioned before. No ILT does not always cause the coughing of blood, there are many strains of that bacteria some worse than others.

Without a necropsy it is all a guessing game about what steps should be taken from here.

I would not worm, the birds are too depleted and the wormer is liable to make the situation worse.

Give them time to recover being off the antibiotics. If the problem shows up again then it is paramount you get a necropsy. You need to know what it is you are trying to treat and if its treatable or just something that goes in to hiding until the next episode.
