Hello,
I'm a new chicken owner. Both my hens have what looks like vent gleet- white stinky paste all over their vents and down their butt feathers and prolapses. They are eating, laying and roaming around normal, but their prolapses seem to be getting worse. I've been feeding them probiotics for poultry in their food, apple cider vinegar in their water, cleaned their coups, and did Epsom salt baths with monastat on their vents. Nothing has worked. Oddly only the hens have this issue and none of the roosters. They've been like this for almost 2months. Please help!

Hi, and welcome to BYC! :frow

You are already doing most everything a lot of us would suggest. Did you know you can give Monistat (or generic) orally too though? Just a 1/2" or so from the tube 3x times a day.

I would do the monistat on the vent 3x per day. This should be going away. Have probiotic water daily and a couple tablespoons of Greek yogurt once a day.

I would try to clear the vent gleet first, then see if their prolapses return to normal. If not, you could try some generic hemorrhoid cream.
