No luck on our Emu eggs

Ok,, this is really, really, REALLY, strange! I made a hole in the end of one and poured out a yolk and white with no development at all. I made a hole in the one I SWEAR I heard tapping in and also saw rocking,, but the only thing it is was a small fetus about the size of a half dollar in the yolk and white,, it never formed past that!
