I agree with the other posts. There are a lot of different reasons that the birds will slow down or stop laying. If they have recently went through a molt they can stop laying for a good month or longer. The amount of light they get. They might just be taking some time off to give their bodies a rest. They may be hiding their eggs. Predators such as snakes can get into places and eat the eggs shells and all and you will never know they are there. There are so many different possibilities its difficult to say just why.
