No movement of chick on day 18

When I candled today at day 18 I could not see any movement?!

I'm on day 18 too! I don't know about you but I'm candling a lot, and something I've noticed in the part week is that the embryos seem to be sleeping sometimes. Every time Ive seen no movement, if I candle again in an hour there it is! As long as you still see veins, I wouldn't give up hope.

My eggs tend to be so dark by that point that I can only see a tiny bit.It is day 19 and they are hatching so I don't think they have room to move really. I think it is ok as long as it doesn't stink.

Thanks so much it is nerve racking but very worth it when they hatch safely. I have hatched successfully mostly for over four years now
