No Muscovies in Franklin county Ohio

Got the word just a short time ago. Since Fish and Wildlife never officially put the regulations on hold Muscovy ducks will not be permitted in Franklin County Ohio. The biggest argument against the situation was the fact that the zoning officer didn't want the added burden of continually checking the ducks to make sure they are properly marked. Even ducks in your posession before March 31, 2010 would have to be marked according to what the zoning board was told by George Allen personally.

Just thought you all would like to know. Now I have 4 ducks with issues that I will have to have put down.

I believe that they DID put them officially on hold; what they have not yet done is published the actual alterations to the rules originally published.
