I'm glad to here Granny is doing well. I will send a card rather than call and bother her.
Shrek, I know how you feel with the PI. I had it on my face once and had to wear a band across my eyebrows to keep the liquid from running into my eyes. It took 2 rounds of steroids and 3 trips to the doctor to get rid of it. Now I cant even walk through smoke that has PI burning in it without breaking out! Miserable stuff!
MC it's great to have doctors that really care about their patients. Sounds like you have a good one. I'm glad you DH is feeling better.
I took Pa to the doctor today because he has been coughing his head off for 2 days and is prone to get strep throat! He has a sinus and ear infection, but negative for strep, Covid and flu. Doc gave him a shot of steroids and a script for antibiotics. He should feel better in a couple of days. I'm headed to bed early tonight it's been a long day. Hope everyone gets a restful nights sleep.

Tell Larry we're praying for him. You too. Our Ashton just got over a cold. Non of us got it! That poor boy. Needs what mom calls..smoke..when he gets sick. Nebulizer. Pretty sure he's going to need to start carrying something with him. He gets pretty tight when allergies hit him and colds.

My knee is starting to act up again. Time for another shot. In fact maybe both. My other one is starting up.
Calling to make an appointment tomorrow. The shot before this last one lasted a year. This last one no way.

Give him our best wishes to feel good fast, Iris. Bronchitis sux. I usually get a sinus infection and the post nasal drainage puts bronchitis on the list for what is going to happen next. I usually through experience know that when my sinus drainage starts to get to the doctor before the bronchitis sets in or I'll be on the steroids also.

Both knees? Well that's not fair. Do you get the pain flare with them after the shot like you do with the shoulder injection?

Good night, @Rambling Iris . Take care of that man of yours. You both be careful Goodness,, you and Shrek both make me really glad I got that PI on my leg and not on my face! Nobody should ever burn PI! The smoke can kill you if it gets in your lungs. You can't bury the stuff either to get rid of it, you'll just sprout more! Horrible stuff!

@Cynthia12, your poor little Ashton! My heart goes out to him and his parents. And to you, too! It's heartbreakng when a little one has chronic health challenges. You just want to see them thrive.

My PT is in the hospital! He wasn't in an accident (I asked), thank goodness, so I suspect this may be related to his diabetes. He seemed a little "off" during his last visit last Friday, not quite himself. I hope he's okay. They're sending me a lady I like real well instead.

No. But I’m glad she’s doing well. And speaking of calling, you all should be happy to know, I just called the On Call number even though I wasn’t 100% sure it would be my clinician. It was NOT. LOL but that’s okay! They still helped.

I told her, by the time she has not smoked for the 3 days she's in the hospital, she will be just about quit.
