I won't start hatching...although I would like to try it at least once. But no I will stay away from that. Laura I know what you mean, I feel the urge to ask on BYC rather than google or ask someone that might know. I had a friend give me the strangest look when I said I spend more time on BYC than Facebook. She asked me if chickens were really that interesting, I said yes they are but this place is so much more than just chickens! DUH! Everytime I tell my DH I read something on here he rolls his eyes. I guess that is because I tell him so much of what I read. I have even started to refer to people from here and talk about them like I actually know them. The funniest part about this whole thing, I think, is that I don't even like eggs. I will eat them in baked goods but I don't like to eat eggs. Yes I got chickens for eggs and should have plenty when my 7 girls start laying. I guess I will have to start liking them soon. That or I will be baking alot of cookies in the near future....
