3 - 18 week old red sex link pullets, bright red combs = impatient me! Dutifully, I placed a golf ball in each of the nesting boxes fervently hoping we might see some activity. This afternoon my daughter was outside playing and I heard a squeal as she frantically ran to the house clutching what I thought would be my dinner. As she proudly held out her hands she said "look mommy, it's better than eggs - they are leaving us balls!"
