Mine hate peas.I always have peas and pasta and they pick the pasta out and leave the peas.

Mine love cabbage & kale and swiss chard! I just planted kale for a fall/winter crop for them.

Spaghetti with meat sauce and watermelon are two things that will get you knocked down and run over 'round here.

Mine don't like bread. They love tomatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, swiss chard - fresh. All salad stuff. But this morning I didn't feel like raiding the swiss chard again for their treat so I took out 3 slices of bread. An hour later they were eating their layer's feed and there was bread in the pen attracting my dogs attention. (dogs do not see chickens as food, but they like bread) Frozen lima beans left over from before my family moved out will be their first frozen food adventure.

My girls like to shake the peas out of the pod and then they chase them. It's like a game for them.
