No Pecking with Vicks Vapor Rub?

I have been scowering websites looking for SOMETHING to stop my two hens and one rooster from pecking our new 20 week-old pullets. I found a spray that may work (online) and I've read that Vicks Vapor Rub works if applied to the back of their heads ... has anyone tried this??

Yes, some have reported using Vick's successfully, but keep in mind it is painful on broken skin. And if the skin is not broken, you may not actually have a problem, they may just be working on their new pecking order. Probably the best thing you can do for the, IMO, is give them lots of space, and places to hide and get away from one another -- plus more than one feeder and waterer.

Chickens peck each other due to a lack of green feed. Grascuttings and weeds added to their diet will stop this.

That's not true.
there are many reasons for pecking: flock order, space, temperament, feed availability, improper introduction or bullying. If there's picking involved, usually a lack of protein or over stimulation. But this is just pecking.
