No pics but odd behavior....

I found my silkie roo, Swiffer, in the duck pond tonight floating on his back. Like a danged human or something. He noramlly walks in to where the water goes up to his neck and just stands there. Yeah I know that is odd too, but he IS a silkie. He is acting like the Mark Spitz of the fowl world!!!

How...well, he is a silkie

It makes my hen's doings look completely normal; during the summer she would jump the two metre fence (with clipped wings) walk to the other side of the garden, past the swimming pool and over a pot then behind a wooden statue in the far corner of the garden to lay her egg!

its about 50m away from the nesting boxes...and theres a whole house in the way!

we always thought she had privacy issues, but mabe sometimes chickens wake up one morning and think, "Im going to be completely strange today!"
