The DPTC1000HC uses a programmable microcontroller which is a tiny computer on an IC chip to compare the temperature set on the dial
to the temperature at the remote sensor and make a decision to turn the heater on or off. This makes a very accurate thermostat. It holds
a constant temperature, which can deliver higher hatch rates. Higher hatch rates mean savings on eggs and more earnings from more surviving
livestock. This unit holds the temperature to within 0.2 degrees Fahrenheit above or below the set point. Compare that with up to a 5-degree
variance on electromechanical snap discs and bimetal thermostats being sold as electronic. The remote sensor allows you to place the sensor
in the optimal position among the eggs while the controller stays outside the cabinet making for easy adjustment without opening the incubator.
Built in surge protection protects against voltage spikes and prolongs the life of the unit. The wide temperature range (60°F thru 110°F) allows
for gradual warming of refrigerated or stored eggs to avoid shock. Can be used to run a brooder when the hatch is done and later in cooling mode
can be used to run a fan to ventilate your coop in the hot summer months. The standard 110-volt outlet at the bottom of the unit makes wiring a
snap! Just plug the power cord from the thermostat into a 110 volt household outlet then plug your heating device into the controller, set the
temperature and youre done!
* Ideal for Reptile habitats, incubators, greenhouses etc.
* Ready to use, no wiring required. Just set for heat or cool, plug it in and set the temperature and your done!
* Controls Heating or Cooling selectable by small recessed switch at top of unit.
* 1000 watt output 125 volts 8 amps 60 hertz. 10 amp internal replaceable fast acting fuse.
* 6 foot remote sensor allows controlling enclosed habitats.
* Large easy to read dial scale with fahrenheit and celsius scales. Knob has built in resistance to movement to prevent accidental adjustment.
* 60 to 110 degree fahrenheit range and 16 to 42 degrees celsius on outer ring of scale.
* Auto shut-off if sensor is shorted or disconnected.
* Built in 2-prong polarized standard household outlet on bottom of unit.
* Sensor is waterproof and submersible.
* Power indicator lights when unit is plugged in and Output indicator lights when power is applied to built in outlet.
* Heat function turns power on to heater when temperature falls below set temperature.
* Cool function turns power on to cooling device when temperature rises above set temperature.
* Heat hysteresis is set at 0.2 degrees fahrenheit with a 1 second delay between cycles to prolong relay life.
