No Roosters, says City!

I am in Santa Clarita, Calif. and my land is sufficient for animals but not for noise... that leaves me with 30 days to give away 6 roosters, approx. 1 year old, hatched from eggs. 1 Black Copper Maran, 1 Amerucana, and 1 Spotted Sussex- all three are friends and quite social.. the Amerc. often sits on my lap for massages. Also have 2 Amerucs that are not aggressive but stand-offish, and 1 Wellander who is high-strung. If you can provide a good home or know of one, please contact me. I feel your pain. I had to rehome several of my roosters, all of which had hatched right here at my home. It took some time but I found homes for the ones who had to leave. I sweetened the deals by offering two hens with each rooster.

It was REALLY hard, but this way I found folks who wanted chickens to keep, not just to eat.
