I wore my flip flops into the chicken pen today and my feet got eaten alive by something that i could not see. If they bothered me that bad and that quick, i can only imagine what my chickens are going through. What is the best thing to solve the problem?

I use Red Lake DE and it works great. I don't have any bugs in my coop or run. I sprinkle it down in the sand and run a rake throw it. I got it from my local feed mill for $17.00 for a 40lb bag. Hope this helps.

I agree... DE!

We have very few insects of any kind in our barn and it also houses goats.
We purchased Fly Predators last year and the warm winter allowed them to winter-over so we have been relatively bug free this summer.

Woohoo!
