No Shell Egg

I found an egg with no shell, perfect shape of an egg, but no shell, just firm and jello like. What causes that?

What you found is an undeveloped egg, The hen can produce this if she is frightened while she is laying or if she was being picked on while laying. But don't worry, this is common in flocks.

Could be lash material(congealed pus from and infection).
