No sign of a comb

I have a LH, a Black Sex link, and a Dark Cornish.....They are all the same age ( A week and a half ).....while the LH and The black sex-link are getting their comb the Dark Cornish don't have anything what does that mean?? Does it have to do with gender?? or Breed?? or Both?

breed. Cornish have very small pea combs, especially when young. i'm not 100% sure, but it is most likely a pullet

Are you sure that is a chicken? The face and beak plus the color of the legs makes me think Pheasant chick.

its supposed to be a Dark Cornish plus Pheasant chicks have dark beaks and pinkish greyish legs like this
