No vent?

Earlier this afternoon I checked everybody for pasty butts. One of the Splash Ameracaunas had one. I cleaned up with warm wet paper towels. Felt kinda hard after. Thought maybe yolk hadn’t absorbed and had to run back outside to deal with construction guys.
I just looked at her again. I could not find a vent. It’s usually above umbilical cord right?
She has a hard mass with what appears to be a dried up umbilical cord poking out, feels like a twig.
I’m no expert. I’m really worried. Attaching pics. Please advise.

How old is this chick? If you compare her to the other chicks, is this hard mass right under her tail where the other chicks' vents are? If so, coat it with vaseline. I'm afraid it might be a prolapse. Stand by while I call some of the educators for assistance.

Chick is about 4 days old. Arrived from Cackle today. Everyone else looks fine. I just checked her again. I found the bump where the umbilical was.
It is underneath the what I NOW see is the vent.
I have a sinking feeling this is very bad. Should I post this in the emergency forum?

That little red thing that is poking out is hard and completely dried up as is the mass below it.
If it is a prolapse, I fear everything has been hanging out for far to long to remedy.

Wouldn't hurt. So ... do you still think this protrusion is coming from the vent? Did you put vaseline on it? Honey will do, too, or Neosporin. I don't know if it's too late. I hope not. Tag the Educators again, just put an @ symbol before the name with no space between.

I posted it in the emergency forum. I will go back and edit it to include the names of the educators.
I DEFINITELY see it coming from the vent.

I would put some warm water on your fingertip or a cotton ball/pad, and hold it on the area for a few minutes to try and soften the red material. Then try to see if it is tissue or possibly poop. Don’t chill the chick though. Keep applying ointment/vaseline once you dry it. Hard to know if it is a prolapse or intestines. Is the chick drinking and eating?

This morning, the pink twig like thing was gone. I held a warm wet cotton ball against her bottom for a good 10 minutes. Her vent appeared!
Kept soaking the mass. The longer I held it there, the more it dissolved, until it was quite clear.
It was poop. I’m a little embarrassed 🙈 but so glad she’s okay. She got quite wet so I put her in an incubator to dry off.
Thanks so much for your kind helpful advice.
