I'm such a nervous wreck for this hatch! I set 30 Dorking eggs & 10 Light Brahmas in the incubator. After eliminating many along the way, I moved 12 Dorking & 8 Brahma into the hatcher. Last night & this morning 2 Brahmas hatched & 4 more are pipped... YAY!

I'm worried about the Dorkings. No pips, no rocking, no nothing. They all candled very lively just before putting them in the hatcher. They're Noah's eggs... he's 9 & very carefully selected his breed. He'll be crushed if they don't hatch!!! I found myself up at 3 AM looking for pips with a flashlight. Poor little guy wouldn't even look at the Brahma babies this morning.

Please, send all the good hatching vibes you can spare our way!!

I got home from work to find the humidity up to 85 and 5 brahma chicks! I opened the windows on top a bit to bring it back down & when I closed them I saw it... a Rose combed Red Dorking is pipping!! I hope the rest follow along
