It's late, but I might as well.

I'd like to learn how to get actually good photos out of my camera this year. I also didn't realize the exposure was low on this photo.

I like it! If you bend down lower to the ground you can get a more eye - level photo. 👀

For exposure, you can fix that in a photo editing app. Some professional photographers actually take a lot of their pictures too dark, then brighten as they see fit in their editing apps.

What type of camera are you using?

You're going to need lots of popcorn. Supposedly I put "2025" instead of "2026"

Good to know, I may just try that.

Lumix G7. I've also got a Canon EOS 30D (telltale sign of me using it is its 3:2 aspect ratio).

I never heard of a Lumix, so I looked it up. A Panasonic then? On your Canon, how are you shooting? Through the sights or the screen? With the Canons, it's best to use the sights with the shutter closed, but if you are using the screen, you can change the aspect ratio.

Panasonic, yes. My first camera was a very abused by siblings point and shoot Lumix. Then I got a Canon one that died, so I bought another Lumix.

The Canon is some ancient nearly twenty-year-old DSLR of sorts, so I use the sqiunty thingy to take photos.
