Noises and Combs?

When my chicks roll around in dust baths they make a sound that sounds like a cheap that is rolled; why?

Some of my pullets single combs are starting to flop to the side... they are only 3 weeks old and the combs are not that large. Is this normal?

They enjoy dust bathing and make various odd sounds. The comb will fall over on certain breeds such as Leghorns.

Well, they are a barred plymouth rock and golden comet whos combs are drooping.

My 17 week old New Hampshire red's comb started to flop over a couple weeks ago.. the Rhode Island red's are still standing straight and aren't as tall.
