Noisette, Coquette and Loulette

[Noisette]

Hi All:

A lifelong dream for this city/suburban girl from French farming roots: We are getting 3 baby chicks tomorrow! One black sex linked (Noisette), one red sex linked (Loulette) and one silkie mystery (praying for a hen: Coquette ; ). They are actually being hand delivered by this really cool company in CA called Dare2Dream Farms. Had so much fun during my one week "staycay" assembling a coop with a run, creating a sand run in my side yard, and building the brooder box with kid sitting area : )
I am almost embarrassed by how happy this all makes me! Wish me luck; I am an anxious momma all over again!

looks like we got a partridge silkie along with our red sex linked and black sex linked chicks. So far so good. Just arrived 5 hours ago; all have eaten and I’ve seen two drink (I did dip each of their beaks in the water per the BYC posts I saw).
