noisy 20 week old checken

i got 20 week old RIR. she sits in the nest box and yelling for 2 hours but no egg. I got some already started laying, but never see this one. Is she an egg bound? Anybody know why she screams like that?

I have one like that too. Sits for 2 hours being very vocal, then she gets off the nest and 5 minutes later lays an egg in the run on the ground, in some poop if she can swing it. Silly chicken! I think they just have to get used to laying and some of them just get upset by the experience, I guess. Mine are about 7 months old now and I think they are finally all laying now.

Maybe they yell like that because they can feel something's about to happen, but they don't know what? I don't know.
