All will be well, and that will be well is well.
I believe people use olive or other oils/fats as a lubricant to dissolve the ick and gently work the babies free. I haven't encountered that particular trouble yet.

I had the exact same thing happen to me!
I may have waited too long, the 3 stuck in their shells for more than 48 hours and now, though free, can’t seem to get off their backsDo you think you will help them hatch out? I had one stuck in its shell I had to help it was horrible watching it struggle, so in the end I cracked and got it out of its shell.
Ooh I just dripped warm water on them until they almost popped themselves free, but the prolonged time spent in shell retarded their limbs...I believe people use olive or other oils/fats as a lubricant to dissolve the ick and gently work the babies free. Give them a day. They might be okay, they might not, but 24 hours should tell.I may have waited too long, the 3 stuck in their shells for more than 48 hours and now, though free, can’t seem to get off their backs
They’re all still kicking valiantly trying to get up, will definitely give them the dayGive them a day. They might be okay, they might not, but 24 hours should tell.
Some of my chicks had curled in feet, every day once or twice per day I would carefully extend their toes/stretch their feet and eventually they uncurled. They’re all still kicking valiantly trying to get up, will definitely give them the day
their necks and backs are curled too, from being in the shell for too long. I'll wait till they're dry before trying the "shoes" method. Some of my chicks had curled in feet, every day once or twice per day I would carefully extend their toes/stretch their feet and eventually they uncurled.
