Noisy Guinea

I lost 3 birds one night and a few week later someone found her and posted it on fb. We went over, captured her and brought her home. Since then they have all been penned for the winter.

So long story short....she wont stop squaking. Shes ruining my life. All of my hens were very quiet.

I changed her name from Dawn to Dinner.

Is eating her the only way to control her abrasive, aggressive calls?

I wouldn't say it's the only way, but it's an effective way.
In general though, no you are not going to be able to make her quiet. We have a guinea who can be very obnoxious at times. I normally just walk in her way, and she'll either hush, or move 5' and proceed to let the war cry continue.

Guineas, lol.... I ate all of mine for the same reason. That and they are extremely aggressive towards other birds

I am assuming that you are hearing the "buckwheat" call. If so, it is because she is calling for a mate. It is very common for young hens to do this seemingly non-stop until they either choose a mate or are chosen as a mate during breeding season. If you haven't eaten her by next spring when all the other hens will also be doing the "buckwheat" call, she will quiet down once she has a mate. In the meantime it is either put up with it, rehome her or invite her to dinner.
