Noisy hen

We have a hen who clucks REAL LOUD and goes on for quite a while. She's in our garage healing from a very bad rooster attack that happened four weeks ago. Is she trying to call out to her flock friends in the back yard? Is she lonely? Its odd behavior as our other hens don't do this?

Some of mine do that even when they’re not separated.
It’s hard for them to be alone.
It can cause a lot of stress.
Is there another girl in your flock she was friends with that you could put in there with her so she’s not alone?

is it possible to put her in a dog crate or cage where she can see the rest of her flock while she heals? That might lead to less stress and help her heal faster.

She's wanting back with the flock. Has the rooster become chicken and dumplings ?

Yeah I was gonna ask where's that rooster. She should be housed next to the flock or else you will have troubles putting her back. The rooster would be out of there.

It might help her to put her in a cage by the rest so they can see her and know she is still part of the flock. Otherwise she will be like a completely new bird to everyone and they may attack her.

Should be alot better if you did put her in a big wire cage with food/water, in the coop with the flock ... Not having to reintegrate when she's ready to rejoin the flock.

If it's been weeks she'll definitely need look no touch re integration plus she probably desires her life outside, she needs sun, etc.
