Noisy quails

Hi, just wondering does anyone else have this problem of the male quail not shuting up five in the morning?:/

I have a BUNCH of males- and theyare driving me crazy with thier squawking! Mine still live in my sunporch while dh is making e perfect house" for them.

And I've watch them and its the Texas A&M one that are the loudest, lol I think might have to.
But the thing is I'm not sure which are female and which are male (other then the ones crowling and they haven't started to lay yet at 8weeks old.

Have you tried covering them with a bed sheet to keep them in the dark a bit longer? Mine started crowing pretty early, but now i cover them overnight and their day does not begin until i say it does.

It's dark when they do start and they are covered but they still do.
