I have two chickens: a bantam brahma and a sussex. They get along well and do basically everything together. Recently though, the sussex has been "making morning announcements". They are so loud and my husband and I dread having to go out there and get her to shut up. She carries on until you go out there and talk to her. Once you leave she starts up again. This goes on for a couple of hours. We each must go out there about 3 or 4 times every morning (sometimes more). They have food, they have water, they have complete free range over about a half acre of land. I can't figure out what the deal is. Is she just a loud breed? Help!
