Non bearded white silkie gender at ~5 month?

My chicken experience is limited to 2 bearded silkies hens so far. So to me, large comb and waddle equal likely roo is engraved in my head. The breed of silkie I got appears to be non bearded slike broilers. I could see obvious comb and waddle early as 7-8 weeks on some which I gave away. A few more that were performing air king fu with each other found new home. I am down to these 3 out of 10 sr silkie chicks. These are almost 5 month old. So what do you think these are? 1 roo, 2 pullets? 2 roos, 1 pullet? All roos?

Then I think you've got females, and they will probably be laying soon. I believe any males would've crowed by now.

Pretty sure these are all pullets, though one does look a little iffy. You'll know soon enough, as that one should start crowing soon if they are a boy.

Seeing those photos of your silkie pullets, I think I might have 2 pullets. The one you said is iffy is the one I thought might be a roo but that one is the sweetest one!

I hope you are right! One of them seems to have such a large comb and waddle compared to the other two. Fingers crossed!

Yeah, the boys can be super sweet and then BAM hormones and they turn into a-holes. But hopefully you've got all girls. Mine lay quite well and are just as broody as regular Silkies. Their larger size means they can handle being in my standard flock, though.
