Non chicken people dont get it

Some folks just don't understand the simple pleasures in life. I started keeping chickens for stress therapy. I fooled with chickens a good bit as a child on a farm, but corporate life and stresses began to wear me down here in my later years. When I'm stressed out, I go out and sit with my flock. Just watching them interact with each other and quickly, the stress seems to ease away.

Enjoy your babies and keep showing pics. A lot of folks don't like pics of grandchildren either, but I keep showing them as well!

@techbsmith I Agree! I know that my chickens have kept me sane the last few years. I don't think I could stand my job without my chicken therapy. Pull up a chair and let them suck the stress out of me.

Sometimes it is the only way I can get through the day at this job.

heres another one i took that same day. Ill have to take more but im glad you guys like them. They are great stress relief and id say better than television. Instead of coming home from work and plopping down on the couch we let them out to free range and just watch them.

Love it! They are cute. Keep them coming.

It's the same with with anything with which people are not familiar. I remember being in my twenties and watching my friend's eyes glaze over if I started talking about my daughter or showing pictures. You figure everyone loves babies, until you realize that they don't.

You’ve all got it wrong...
You must bring up your chickens at parties just to get the busy bodies to forget the reason why they came to you in the first place!!
I use it all the time:)
