Just a little info. I have a few hives of honey Bees.
Did you know all fertile bee eggs hatch out females, and all non-fertile bee eggs hatch out as drones(males).
Would this not be grand if bird eggs did this.
In the case of a virgin Queen, that didnt get bred, her hive will die as only the females do the work.
