So we have 3 Cayugas, not old enough to be laying quite yet. If I end up neeeeeeeding to get more hens (
) should I get more Cayugas or is there another breed that is a good companion for them? Which ones and why?
I was looking into Pekins, Swedish blues, and Buff Orpingtons. But I was also curious if just maintaining the same breed had its benefits and what they would be.
