Non-pregnant bunny pulling fur?

My mom was given a rabbit about 2 weeks ago. This bunny was in a small cage before and not paid much attention. Anyway, she's been pulling fur and making a nest? Could this mean she's pregnant?

Unless it's a false pregnancy, there's a good chance you'll have some baby bunnies soon! I would get ready for babies. Do your research and give your doe some nice healthy treats.

It was our understanding that she was an only bunny - but the pulling fur is throwing me!

It could be a false, but it's better to prepare just in case

I agree. Give her a nest box just in case. However, I've had a doe pull fur and make a mini nest in the corner of her cage. She'd never been mated.
