I will be adding to my flock this year and will be creating a non-roofed run area adjacent to my covered run.
My plan right now it to set Cedar Posts 6'-8' apart. The fence will be 6' high.
What would you all recommend for fencing material to atached to the posts? I was originally thinking a 2"x4" metal fencing material, but am now considering using a Heavy Weight Netting similar to this:

The lowest 3' will be fenced with an additional 1/2" Hardware Cloth for low-lying predators...
