Forced solitude sucks.
Yet, it's not always this way.
Just now, in this chair.

Dropped a few haiku.
Clean up; chickens need a new.
Now my dinners through.

Devoid of contact.
The loss of humanity.
Covid-19-mare.

Life is not easy.
There's no manual either.

To bring us closer,
A holiday has meaning,
Yet it's nebulous.

Energy, matter;
Calendar's have no control.
Artificial time.

The ego challenge,
Is that the best you can do?
Young, our species is.....

Arrogance survives;
Proven, though not the best choice.
Wisdom's hindsight, still.

Comfort food, ice cream.
Even now, the past holds us.
Sleep alludes me still.

Servers need the juice.
Our memories use that juice.
Yet, none is conserved.
