Non sequitur haikus

Pics
I will just say, of the last haiku in that set: I lost a husband in '04 to leukemia. That one was for him. We had three wonderful years together and he accepted the Lord before he died. I know I will see him again and that gives me both joy and comfort.
The first four were about how the pandemic is making me feel, and how I think others are feeling about it. I was surprised how they seemed to make a cohesive whole.

I was young, now old,
Wisdom grows; the body fails.
Ask me why I laugh.

I was pretty once
It was two o'clock that day
A Tuesday, I think.

Youth, they have it all
Oh yes, they think they do; Hush!
Don't tell them diff'rent!

Only thing cuter
Than a brand new baby boy
Is a brand new DAD!

Moms with new babies
Sure do touch our heart strings but
Get a load of Big Sis!

Thursday we give thanks
That we, alive and well, can
Weep for those who aren't.

This year we stood tall
In the face of ev'ry storm;
We are stronger now.

Thank you, twen' twenty
You made us see our weakness
And, too, our great strengths.

We're resilient.
Adaptable. Capable.
Caring. Generous.

We won't quit. We try.
We cry, we sing, we share, LOUD
We laugh, love, UNITE.

COVID WILL NOT WIN.
COVID WILL NOT BEAT US DOWN, NO!
WE CAN BEAT THIS THING!

MASK UP, EVERYONE!
WASH HANDS; KEEP EACH OTHER SAFE!
SIX FEET APART, MASKS!

Safety measures keep the economy open.
Please do your part!
We can keep shops open If people wear masks, don't crowd, wash hands.
It's so easy
To keep people ALIVE!
JUST DO IT, AMERICA!

Love one another. Wear a mask.
