None of my eggs are hatching!

The incubator I bought is a little giant. It's supposed to be pre-set to the right temp, but I'm not sure. The accurite thermometer is reading 90. Are digital medical thermometers accurate? I have a few of those... putting a dixie cup full of water in the incubators and I'll test the temps tommorrow

Probably too late for this hatch, but for next time, buy a Brinsea Spot Check. You can then take your own temperature with it and with a medical thermometer, compare the two, and be satisfied that the Brinsea is correct, or at least know that it's off a half a degree, or something. Then, don't use any other thermometer in the incubator, except as a backup to know if the Brinsea has failed, which is unlikely if you start every hatch with a fresh battery.

Also you can read my post on how to make your own highly accurate digital thermometer and calibrate it. If the construction is beyond your abilities, there's probably someone you know who dabbles in electronics that will build it for you.
